Everything you need to know about sourcing from China for US importers — pricing, timelines, quality control, compliance, and how Huntley Global works.
Huntley Global offers three transparent pricing tiers: Sourcing Starter from $450/project (factory identification and shortlisting), Full Procurement from $1,800/project (end-to-end management from factory to US warehouse), and Ongoing Retainer from $1,500/month (dedicated management for regular procurement). All fees are published on our pricing page and confirmed in writing before work begins.
No. Our income comes exclusively from published client fees. We do not accept commissions, rebates, or kickbacks from any factory. This is fundamental to our ability to provide unbiased factory recommendations that serve your interests — not ours.
We offer two options: Client-Managed (we provide verified factory banking info, you transfer directly — no fee) or Full-Service Settlement (we manage the transaction with a complete audit trail — 2% banking + 1% admin). Both options are designed to protect your interests.
A typical sourcing project takes 4–8 weeks from briefing to factory confirmation. This includes 1–2 weeks for factory identification, 1–2 weeks for sample production, and 1–2 weeks for review and revisions. Production and shipping add 4–12 weeks depending on product complexity and shipping method.
MOQs vary by product. Simple products (phone cases, basic accessories) can start at 100–500 units. More complex products (electronics, custom molds) typically start at 500–2,000 units. We negotiate MOQs on your behalf and can often secure lower minimums for first orders.
Yes. Our Full Procurement tier includes complete logistics coordination: shipping method selection, US Customs and Border Protection documentation, duty and tariff calculations, port clearance, and last-mile delivery to your US warehouse or Amazon FBA center.
Every project includes our Quality Gate: factory certification verification, in-line production checks, and a comprehensive pre-shipment inspection (AQL-based) with photographic evidence. Nothing ships without your written approval. For medical products, we also obtain batch-specific test reports and certificates of conformity.
Yes. We provide end-to-end Amazon FBA sourcing including private label development, custom packaging design, FBA-compliant FNSKU labelling, poly bagging, carton labelling, and direct shipping to your designated FBA fulfillment center(s) in the US. See our Amazon FBA page for full details.
Yes. We manage all FBA compliance labelling including FNSKU barcodes, suffocation warnings, poly bagging, and carton labels. We coordinate this with the factory during production so everything arrives FBA-ready.
No. Huntley Global is not an FDA consultant and does not provide regulatory clearance services. We source from factories that hold relevant certifications (ISO 13485, FDA registration, CE marking) and provide complete factory compliance documentation. For FDA submissions, we recommend qualified regulatory partners.
We have sourced enterprise PDA scanning hardware at $549 per unit — compared to $975+ for branded alternatives. This saving of $715 per device is documented in our PDA hardware case study.
Three things: 1) Radical transparency — every fee published, no hidden factory commissions. 2) Director-level oversight — Kaysey Chang personally manages your project, not a junior team member. 3) Selective model — we limit our client roster to ensure dedicated attention on every project.
